Work is going good. A generic answer, but that's truly how I feel about it. I know a lot of my family is going to be reading this post, wondering if I can finally explain what the heck I do--and well, it's complicated. I fix data and software and reports and computers that break for hospitals that have Cerner solutions and our Registration software.
Mostly work is great because I have great coworkers and a wonderful friend group. I sit right next to my boyfriend... and yes, we actually get a lot of work done. I work better with him right next to me knowing that I can look over and make him smile at any minute. It's also nice to work with my boyfriend because we understand the struggles and the stress. He can look at me and know when I'm too focused to talk or when he should come over and calm me down after a mad client phone call.
Anyways, I'm getting pretty good at what I do. They taught me all about one specific topic, moved me on to another section. I mastered all of that, and now they are currently teaching me something new. Only a few more things to learn, and then I'm hoping to become an expert of it all.
Remember when I was in college and I would talk about how much I loved to learn? Well, that's one of the reasons that I really love this job. There are always opportunities to learn, and being the best at what I do is the biggest motivator for me. I want to learn it all!!
Also, I recently decorated my desk. It's super cute, and I'm excited to put some lights and decor up for the holiday season. The pictures below show you how boring it was before, and how I spiced it up a bit for fall. It's very me, and makes me happy to come to work every day. It's the little things that always make you the happiest, right? More pictures to come!!!
