Who is Danyell Lang?

I’m a wife, creator, video maker, photographer, sister, friend, mama, digital planner, educator, and passionate person in everything I do. When asked to describe myself in three words I say hard-working, fun loving, and self motivated! But why don’t we start at the beginning… as far back as my personal memory can allow.

I grew up in small town Indiana with three beautiful sisters, my amazingly strong mother, and the most hardworking dad in the world. When I think of my childhood the memories are mostly good. Both of my parents ran their own business while I was growing up—my mom had a daycare that she ran out of our house most of my young life and then later managed the daycare at our church, and my dad owned a marina, some apartments, a snow plowing business, and dipped his hands into literally anything entrepreneurial that he could. My family has always been busy! Two business owners, four girls, and a million things to do in a day… this is definitely where I developed my passion for organization, a hard work ethic, and creativity.

I went to college for Informatics at Indiana University. This is when I discovered blogging and the wonderful world of YouTube. I started my own blog called Danyzell on blogspot which is still up today! After college I moved to Kansas City to pursue a full-time job within health-care IT. I kept blogging, dabbled more with YouTube videos, and kept in touch with my family and friends by creating online content. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was digitally memory keeping. I loved it so much, my videos and blog posts meant everything to me. Even then I knew that they were important memories, which is why I left my old blog up, and you can still go to danyzell.blogpost.com to view some of my really old content.

In Kansas City, at work, this is where I met the love of my life, Trevor! He inspired me to pursue my dreams outside of the typical 9-5 which led to LVP Studios being born (previously known as Lang Videography). At this point we had already created our YouTube channel called T&D Do Life where we were documenting almost weekly vlogs of our life, sharing what was happening with friends and family, and creating videos that would hold our memories. Since we had all of this video creating equipment, and me tons of experience with editing over the years, I offered to film a wedding for a friend. LVP Studios just spiraled after that, and now I can say that I am doing it full time!!

I also run an Etsy shop called Digidanico which focuses on digital products and clip art specifically designed for those who want to go paperless with digital scrapbooking and planning. This started almost out of no where. I remember sitting in the new house that Trevor and I had just bought, watching YouTube videos (as always), and stumbling upon this thing called digital planning. Poof! That’s all it takes for an idea to be born into my head, and I was sucked in.

And I think that’s mostly a run down of my life. In my spare time… if I have any… I enjoy reading, going to the movies, and laughing at whatever makes me smile. I live with my husband, Trevor, and our fur-babies, Grizzle and Ash (cats), and Skye (Husky), in northern Indiana. We moved back to be closer to my family in February 2019, and plan to continue making our lives here. But who knows what happens next? I sure don’t, so be sure to follow along with us!
