Blogmas Day 3 - Shopping weekend (Part 1)

Welcome to Blogmas, a journal of images and collection of thoughts starting the first of December until Christmas! You can expect a new post every morning of what I accomplished the day before. I am hoping that these posts can be a nice way for me to document this holiday away from family via pictures and little videos.

Saturday started the shopping trip officially. We began our shopping excursion downtown in Kansas City after a nice continental breakfast. Downtown there was a cheese shop and a really cute dog store. Then, we headed off to Zona Rosa. We shopped at places like Marshals, Gap, Journey's, Dicks, Old Navy, and more. I got all of my family shopping done except for a couple of people. After stopping at a few stores, we grabbed some lunch at Bravo! It was excellent.

The outdoor mall at Zona Rosa was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I love the lights and all the decor. It's really fun to shop for family and buy gifts for people when you hear the Christmas music in every store getting you in the giving spirit.

We stopped a few times for coffee, and then after a long day, we went to Houlihans. This is a tradition for the family shopping trip! It's a great restaurant and the food is good, but the real reason that everyone goes is because the have AMAZING Long Island Iced Teas. So, of course we drank as many as we could.
