We stopped vlogging & here's why

You may have noticed we stopped vlogging on our YouTube channel. This was kind of a big deal because our channel was how we shared about our every day lives and was the back bone of what I shared on this blog. YouTube was always our big memory keeping method and not doing it was a heartbreaking decision, but at the time, a totally necessary one. We haven’t vlogged on YouTube in over a year, and I wanted to share a little bit about why that happened.

Have you ever said "my life is so boring"? (The LVP Newsletter wk. 32)

Have you ever said "my life is so boring"? (The LVP Newsletter wk. 32)

Have you ever heard me say your story matters? If not, well maybe you’re new to my personal blog, because I say it all the time! And it does—I truly believe that your story matters. Even if you think “oh, my life is so boring” or “no one is going to want to listen to what I have to say” or even the infamous “no one cares,” you’re wrong! Because your story is shaping the future, and the only way we can all learn about it, grow through it, and experience your truth is by hearing your story. So, let’s say it again, your story matters.

July 2021 Recap -- wrapping up weddings, nesting, and lots of cleaning

Let me first start off this recap blog post by saying that I am exhausted. Getting anything done in these few months has been so hard for me. Now that I am in the third trimester I feel like my body no longer wants to do anything besides rest and nest. July was one of my last productive months. And while the months ahead need to be super productive as well, it’s suddenly become a lot harder.

June 2021 Recap -- diabetes diagnosis, nursery updates, weddings, and more

You know it’s been a busy season when you’re writing the monthly recap half way into the next month. Whew! Time is just flying by. I have so much to tell you about, but honestly never enough time to fill you all in. That makes me think about how I just scheduled a coffee date with a friend, and I LITERALLY had to pick a specific time and put it down on my calendar and pencil her in. Honestly, that’s how it going to be from now on, haha, if you want to chat then you’re going to have to be added to my calendar. Anyways, here’s the update from June!

May 2021 Recap -- baby stuff, lots of weddings, and podcast breaks

Whew! Another month down? Wow, things are flying by. I can’t believe that in 3 short months we will have a newborn. There’s so much to do and so little time. My wedding schedule during the month of May consumed me and felt like it took up all of my time (which weddings typically do). There’s the planning for a wedding, prepping for the big day, working all day on my feet, being exhausted the following day, and then spending the next day catching up before I have to do it all over again. If I were to describe my May that’s what I would tell you it felt like—exhausting.

April 2021 Recap -- branding, weddings, surgery, and more

These months are flying by. I have been fortunate to be very busy during this season of life, but that also means I’m feeling a bit of overwhelm as well. As I keep busy with so many business related things, I find that I am actually doing pretty well with personal related things too. The only item in my life that someone may consider to be falling on the wayside is keeping a tidy home (but I have my whole life for that, right? haha).
